Job Opening

at a professional Hunter/Jumper facility in Union Bridge, MD. ISO Full Time Groom with riding ability, generally 8-10 hour days, 5-6 days a week, good weekly pay, housing allowance potential or you can bring your own camper. Work includes: feeding (1 of the 2 feedings/day), bringing horses in/out from paddocks, medical care/bandage changes, side work (laundry, clean feed tubs, clean feed room, etc.), blanketing, occasional stall cleaning. Riding based on experience/skill (mostly flat work, lunging, etc.) Jumping experience is preferred but not required. Loch Moy Farm LLC seeks full time assistant to help with year 'round compe tition (over 50 competition days per year). Eventing, dressage, recognized & unrecognized, Young /Future/New Event Horse, XDerbys etc. Responibilities incl:

• Respond to customer emails in a timely manner.
• Maintain and enter competitor entries.

• Maintain communication with customers, riders, volunteers, and judges before and after events.

• Update the website with all pertinent event information, such as news, ride times, results, etc.
• Set up horse events/shows/clinics on different platforms, including scheduling, competitor updates, etc.
• Set up for horse events/shows/clinics such as moving/decorating jumps, setting up show jump courses and dressage rings, and setting up clipboards/judge’s boxes, etc.
Qualifications: At least one year of customer service experience, preferably in an event or equestrian setting.
• Highly organized with ability to work independently, meet deadlines, efficiently manage time, file, and prioritize multiple projects.  
• Self starter.
• Very comfortable learning new software. • Familiarity with systems such as standard horse sport software (Evententries, Compete Easy, Fox Village, etc.) a plus.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with positivity and flexibility.
• Professional and customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.  • An “always learning” mindset.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must have reliable transportation (there is no public transport available) &  be available to work some weekends on event dates.
This is a full-time position, $20/hr. based in Adamstown, Maryland. This position allows for a flexible work schedule, dental benefits, reimbursable medical benefits. Instructor Wanted
Clarity Riding is looking to add to our teaching team. We are an active lesson and training barn focusing on dressage, distance riding, and eventing/jumpers. We teach riders ages 3+ of all experience levels in private/semi-private settings as well as half-day summer camps for ages 4 to 18. We have active competition teams in multiple disciplines and also attend non-competitive equine events regularly.
We are seeking an instructor for full time or part time employment. Opportunities for more hours, training, and/or riding time available. Opportunities for travel and competition for the right candidate.
Must be 18+, 21+ strongly preferred. Must have own transportation and phone with good communication skills. Must have strong English riding experience, teaching and competition experience strongly preferred. Must be available for in person interview and currently able to work in the US.
Pay is on commission for lessons/coaching plus a daily rate, other work on a by-job basis. Full-time benefits include health insurance and a retirement plan. Flexible shifts available, 6 to 10 hours per shift, 2 to 5 shifts per week.
